NEW'S FLASH!
Hey T.S.R. I read today that in N.Y.C. the mayor passed a legislature that they are now attempting to make a law that all business owner's that have bicycle delivery and or messenger service has to wear a helmet by LAW. The Mayor also say's that the company's have to provide the helmets for all employee's no exceptions! i sent the link out to another Street Rider but didn't put it here,so will go back get it and send so you all can read it. Now you know whats next once they start small then they go BIG! I personally i don't have a probably with a helmet but making it a law is going to start something else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know what i mean! ok T.S.R. get ready it's a coming! once it clears NYC then the trical down theory! I agree with the Mayor of NYC. It should be required.
ReplyDeletesee the only difference is once they start taxing sport then where do's it stop. You'r not a rider so it's easy to say when you don't ride. For children under 16 in most states it's law but you cant't tell a grown man or woman that he or she has to wear a helmet, to have sport. it's something they choose and it's on them.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem with it but it's only a thing if the local gov't can make a dollar off of it. I'm against that. You know as well as i do that they don't care wither you live or die at all. just how much revenue comes in behind the sell of helmets and finds...
Thats the bottom line. Let me state for the record I have no problem with wearing a helmet or them stating that riderz should,but making it a law is only a way to get more money then what FREEDOM OF CHOICE DO YOU HAVE THEN?
Now all this is just my opinion i'm not saying that it's right i'm just saying that it's "MINE"

they should also teach them how to ride on public streets. I have heard of walkers starting to wear helmet in Europe??
